Court Ensembles – Wow!

I can’t get over how many people have thrown their hats into the ring for the court ensembles project!  This is crazy fabulous!  I figured a few people would jump in, but whoa!  We now have 46 people participating.

I’ve just updated the overall project page with images of claimed dresses and links to blogs.  If you’d like to be listed and I missed you, please comment or drop me an email!

PS We have no boy outfits, this makes me sad.  Somebody, recruit a boy to make a pink spangly outfit!

  1. Let’s see how far I can get on my own dress, but if I make it to Costume College and the spousal unit agrees to accompany me to the Gala, I’ll see what I can do. This might be my only opportunity to get him in pink.

  2. Is it too late to join? Robin and I would love to pile-on. We were planning to make 18th century court dresses anyway, and are going to CoCo next year. Our dresses will be fantasy, and tentatively based on playing cards. Please, please, let us play with you!

  3. I sent you an email, but seems it must’ve been filtered away?
Anyhow, it’s so tempting to join but I worry my lack of sewing experience will be my downfall, it’s a rather complex project after all and in humanoid 1:1 scale. Should I start a doll/bjd scaled version of your project, would you mind, or would you rather host it yourself? 🙂
