Williamsburg, Ho!

I’m half-way packed, and mostly done sewing (just some handsewing to do on the plane — ruffles for my habit shirt) — aieeeeeeeeeee!  SUPER excited!  I’ve been too busy to take photos of the final bits, but I promise to post some photos and updates while I’m gone.

I’m terrible with connecting names and faces, so if you’re in Williamsburg, come on over and say hi!

  1. What are you doing in Williamsburg?! I’ve only been once that I remember, and I loved it. I want to live and work and die there. it’s such a lovely spot. Especially with costumes 🙂

  2. How long will you be there? (I go to William and Mary, but unfortunately, we’re on spring break.)

  3. Clara – I’m going to the Costume Accessories research symposium!

Libby – I’ll be there march 10-16 (leaving on the 17th). Hopefully we’ll run into each other or can meet up?

  4. Kendra,
I’m right behind you I leave on Friday. I’ll be sewing on the plane too-LOL.
I’ll find you and say hi-
I’m such a nerd I’ll probably cry when I first see colonial Disneyland! I’m just praying I see Jefferson… their equivalent to Mickey.
    Cant wait!

  5. I’ll see you Sunday if not before then! Ooh! Come to the Farmers Market Saturday morning in Merchant’s Square, I’ll definitely be there! If nothing else I’ll wander about this weekend and look for fancy outfits.

Katherine- Jefferson does scheduled events throughout the week so he’s easy to find. If nothing else there’s a bronze statue of him in Merchant’s Square!

  6. Kendra- would you want to have some coffee at Aromas on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon?

Katherine- check CW’s “This Week” for the speakers at the Kimball Theater. Everyday at 11:30 (?), either Jefferson, Patrick Henry, George Washington, or the Marquis de Lafayette makes a public address and then answers the audience’s questions.
