  1. Hi!
Maybe you would be interested in “A Ghost In Monte Carlo” with Samantha Eggar, Oliver Reed, Sarah Miles und Fiona Fullerton.
I really like to know what you think about it.

    Greetings,

  2. PLEASE keep doing what you’re doing. There are very few ways to find the production value of films and TV miniseries. Knowing what is coming from Britain and the BBC is especially valuable. I disagree with you about the original Brideshead series, most assuredly a 5 of 5 but you are right about Diana Quick’s miscasting. It was just a small wrong note in a great symphony of genuine narrative value.
    Thanks,

  3. You might be interested in the Devil’s Whore. It’s about the English Revolution and Cromwell. It’s BBC at it’s best; it has excellent costumes and its history is correct.

  4. This site, and particularly this page, has been my go-to resource for costume movies for what feels like a decade! I love your page and I love learning about your projects! Thanks so much!

  5. Thank you so much for what you do! I visit this site on a regular basis. It is really wonderful to have a place to go to help find, and then wade through, all of the costume movies that are out there. Keep up the great work on this and all of your costuming endeavors!

  6. Also, The Slipper and the Rose is one of my favorite fairytale movies (set in the 18th century). I’m not sure how accurate the costumes are, but they’re lovely (except for the ball scene).

  8. Are you familiar with the 2006 HBO miniseries “Elizabeth I,” with Helen Mirren and Jeremy Irons? What is your opinion of the costuming?
